 
The Young Environmental Leaders Program (YEL) provides students (ages 8-18) with the opportunity to combine community service, leadership, and science. YEL students learn to address present and future environmental concerns through developing individual projects and civic engagement. If you are interested in gaining a unique set of skills that will provide you with the knowledge, confidence, and opportunity to promote and support topics you are passionate about, consider being a part of YEL.
The Young Environmental Leaders will learn to enlighten communities on energy issues, and be able to address present and future environmental concerns. YEL encourages the development of youth by promoting citizen involvement through political activism, outreach and community service.
