Get Involved
Want to get involved through interning? Sign up to discover how you can make a difference for a more energy-independent future. There are two options for internships:
1. Paid Internships are a definitive 10 hours per week, with a regular committed schedule of ~6 of those hours during our regular hours, which are between 10 and 5, Monday through Thursday. We also ask for a 2-semester commitment, pending a positive performance review, from our paid internships. Paid internships are more competitive.
2. Volunteer internships are also 10 hours per week with some hours during the regular working hours, 10-5, Mon-Thurs, but we are able to be somewhat more flexible with those requirements. It is still recommended to commit to at least a semester, and two semesters if possible, to get the most out of the internship. You are able to get school volunteer hour credit, other volunteer hour credit, and internship credit at a school as desired and arranged. It is possible to shift to a paid internship if one is available during the next semester.
In both cases, our team is great and our intern program provides a good opportunity to gain real-life hands-on experience in running parts of an effective organization. After you complete the form below, please email your resume to interns@rethinkenergyflorida.org with a short cover letter telling us which you prefer.
In addition to the open internships described above, we are also a work site for CareerSource Capital Region. People who meet the income and other guidelines for the ‘Work Experience’ program are welcome to apply at the links below for 25 hours per week positions. Also, please send an email to interns@rethinkenergyflorida.
