Leap Day Rally

2020 is a leap year, meaning Governor DeSantis has an “extra” day to ban fracking. He has failed to act despite his promise to advocate the legislature to ban fracking on day one of his administration. He has failed to meet with the Floridians Against Fracking coalition to discuss his plans to ban fracking statewide. DeSantis HAS met with corporations who pay exorbitant funds to his PAC. (Duke Energy paid $100,000 to spend a day playing golf with the Governor!)

Join us in Tallahassee, at the Capitol Courtyard (400 S. Monroe St., Tallahassee, FL, 32399) where activists publicly present Governor DeSantis with a giant $100,000 check to “pay the fee” to spend this extra day of the year with the Governor to talk about how he plans to ban fracking. Bring some signs and some friends to advocate for a ban on fracking on 2/28, from 12-1 PM!
