Rally @Reclaiming Florida's Future

People are traveling from around the state to Join ReThink Energy Florida, along with many other supporters of sustainable energy to show our legislators that we plan to Reclaim Florida's Future for all! If you can come for nothing else, please come for the rally!

The rally portion of Reclaiming Florida's Future is at 10:30am Wednesday, at the dolphins at the beautiful Tallahassee capitol. Tallahassee will be hosting advocates and constituents all over the state to talk to their Legislators about some of the energy concerns and policies that determine Florida's future.
Some of the issues that we will speak to our elected officials about include:

  • Banning Fracking in Florida: This extreme extraction method poses risks to our environment and does not benefit the people of Florida. We don't want to see what happened in Naples happen anywhere in Florida again!
  • Supporting Renewable Energy: Florida is the sunshine state, and through the Constitutional Amendment process, we’ve made great strides toward owning that name! Now we need the legislature to follow suit, through legislative action, including implementing Amendment 4.
  • Protection of Florida’s Waters: From the Panhandle to the Keys, Floridians demand clean water. Our springs, rivers, estuaries, lakes, bays and Everglades will continue to degrade, and threaten our health, quality of life, and economy, until decision-makers buy the land needed to restore and protect our watersheds.

Here is the Facebook event to share on!
