Energy Camp 2018: Session II

Energy Camp is a summer program designed to teach youth, rising into grades 3-6, the impact of fossil fuel usage, the options of renewable energy, and the fundamental skills that will be required as we downsize our energy use and environmental impact. 

  • Session II: July 23rd - 27th

Participants will engage in hands-on, experimental activities related to renewable energy solutions, depletion of fossil fuels, and climate change. Activities include:

  • How to make a Solar Oven
  • Creating your own Solar Bug
  • Fixing Bikes
  • Growing your own Food

 Camp will be held at, but not sponsored by, the United Church of Tallahassee, 1834 Mahan Drive, Tallahassee, FL.


Camps start at 9:00 am but drop-off begins at 7:30 am. Camps finish at 4:30 pm each camp day and pick-up ends at 5:30 pm.

Costs: $155 | Partial and Full Scholarships Available
