Brunch For The Planet

An informal gathering with Executive Director, Kim Ross, Communications Director, Brian Lee, and Miami Chapter Director, Susie Garcia, to discuss Sea Level Rise Forums for Candidates. We'll eat brunch and talk about this next step for engaging our citizens before the 2018 elections.

Miami-Dade is a key target area to hold one of these candidate forums, which will be held across the state to educate the public about the policy positions of their future leaders. The forums are modeled after a Tallahassee event that has over 20 years of history and over the past six years was led by Kim Ross.

These non-partisan forums facilitate public input, education, dialogue, and debate, allowing citizens to suggest questions on a variety of sea level rise mitigation and adaption issues that local candidates can weigh in on. The Sea Level Rise Forums will be held prior to the primary and general elections.

Can't make it but still want to help?? Reach out to Kim at Admin@rethinkenergyflorida.org or 850-888-2565 to schedule a sit down while she is visiting between 4/14 and 4/17.
